Cinco De Wizards! (Round 2, Game 2)

A huge number of Wizards fans came out to one of our favorite gameday spots, Lou's City Bar, to watch Game 2 of the Wizards/Hawks series. The event was a combination of Wizards watch party and a Cinco De Mayo celebration and good times and good tacos were had by all (all event photos here).

Just after people started to arrive some horrible news flashed on the television screen above the bar. John Wall would be out for the game. That was not getting the party started on the right foot. "TEQUILA! NOW!" I screamed at the bartender.  However the Wizards kept it close for most of the game and we had a great time cheering, chanting and high fiving each other all night long.

Lou's introduced their new tacos for the occasion and they were delicious. Also on special were Gortat-aritas (or Marcinaritas). Margaritas in classic lime, peach, and my favorite, blackberry. Buckets of Tecate and Corona were all over the place and a random tequila shot here and there led to a pretty crazy night of almost missing the last metro.

We had a great time at Lou's and even though the Wizards lost we know they can stick with the Hawks, even without John Wall. Go WIZ and hope you can join us next game!
